I’ve heard about people taping their mouth to sleep. What’s this about?
Health professionals have been promoting taping your mouth to help with sleep and overall health. The idea is that by taping your mouth while you sleep, you will do all your breathing through your nose, which in turn causes more oxygen to be delivered to your system. This also aids in the production of nitric oxide which helps with blood flow, better immune function and anti-inflammatory activity in the body.
Other advantages include: eliminating snoring, increase saliva production (helps reduce cavities), and a reduction in morning headaches.
